Trekking around Manaslu offers a unique opportunity to experience a reasonably "untouched" region of Nepal. This region of Nepal sees few trekkers, which makes a visit here more exclusive and unspoiled. Manaslu trekking has been open since 1991, it provides spectacular beauty along the border of Nepal and Tibet and is now a controlled trekking route, allowing organized trekking groups special permits to gain entry into this region to venture round its spectacular circuit.

From here, begin your ascent through the Gandaki River valley, fed by innumerable rivers and water Falls and plunge into its refreshing pools. From here the strenuous section begins and yaks begin to outnumber people in a rocky landscape in samagaon, visit the glacier green lake of Birendra, before crossing into mystic samdo, a mere 15 km. from the tibetan border. Here tibetan monks inhabit sacred monasteries. There the view of the tibetan plateau against stark white Himalayas make this a truly spiritual place. Continuing, more monasteries await you in larkya bazzar a long biggest challenge – crossing larkya pass. This 5213 M snow – covered pass demands the utmost respect. Snow – covered peaks over 6500m. tower above as we cross. The descent, once off the snow takes us through alpine, then tropical areas, bursting with ferns, bamboo, piunetrees, water falls and aqua – blue green lakes laced with cotton – white beaches. Finally, the Manaslu will disappear behind you as you descend to Besisahar(832m). This three week’s excursion will leave you with a sense peace and respect for the people of Nepal and its ecological wonders.
